The NFT community is a heavily social one. Some projects even grant access to exclusive clubs where owners of similar NFTs can chat and take advantage of member-only perks. So, it’s important that your NFT project has the social channels it needs to capture the audience you’re interested in tapping into.

Here’s what you need to know to build out a meaningful social strategy for your NFT project.

Which Social Channels are Most Important

First and foremost, it’s important to know the social channels your audience will most likely be using. In the NFT industry, those channels include:

  • Discord. Discord is like the unofficial social channel for the NFT industry. Every successful NFT project has a Discord channel and yours should too.
  • Twitter. Twitter is another hotbed for NFT enthusiasts – and a must for any new project that wants to make a splash.
  • Facebook. Facebook is the world’s most popular social network. So, it only makes sense that your project has a Facebook profile.
  • Pinterest. Finally, NFTs are digital art that’s recorded on the blockchain. Pinterest is an image-based social network that can really lend a hand to getting the word out about your project.

What You Should Include In Your Social Profiles

Just having social profiles on different channels is good, but it’s not going to do much. It’s important that you give your potential audience the information they’ll be looking for when they find you on one of the networks above. Your social channels should include:

Project Name

This goes without saying – but we’re saying it anyway! Make sure you’ve pinned down your project name before creating social channels. It’s important that your project’s name is the exact same across all platforms.

Attention-Grabbing About Snippet

When you fill out the about section of your social profiles, it’s important that the about section of these profiles really catches the readers’ attention. Think about how you can accurately depict what your project is about in a fun and quirky way.

For example, don’t just say, “we aim to make the world a better place by creating equality.” Say something like, “We’re kicking inequality out of the room!” Showing this type of personality in the about section could attract a large audience.

Plenty of Images

The NFT industry is centered around digital art. So, make sure you have plenty of images showing off the art you’ve created. Of course, make sure the images you use are NFTs you own and don’t plan to sell any time soon.

Keeping Your Social Channels Up-to-Date

Always stay in contact with your audience. It’s best to launch one social post in the morning, one in the afternoon, and one at night, every day. This will help you capture as large of an audience as possible.
