If you’ve completed Chapter 1, you should at least have an idea of the types of NFTs you want to create. Now, it’s time to learn about the tools that will help you create them when you get started.

This course has a total of three lessons. Here’s what you’ll learn:

Chapter 2.1: Tools for Art-Only NFTs

In this lesson, you’ll learn about all the tools available to you when you create art-only NFTs. Some tools have to do with creating the art itself, whether they be a paintbrush, a camera, or a pencil and pad. Other tools will help you refine your artwork and get it ready for the mint phase.

Chapter 2.2: Tools for Utility NFTs

You may need to have additional tools for NFTs with utility. After all, these NFTs should do something other than act as art that’s stored on the blockchain.

In this chapter, we’ll talk about the different tools you can use to create the art for your utility NFTs as well as the tools you can use to add utility to them.

As a bonus, we’ll also talk about the types of utility you can add to your NFT collection and the easiest uses to add and keep up with.

Chapter 2.3: Algorithmically Generated Collections

Some NFT developers use computer algorithms to generate thousands of unique pieces of their collection in a matter of minutes, if not seconds. The basic concept is to give the algorithm multiple variables to randomly assign to each piece. From there, the computer program does its work and creates thousands of NFTs based on the parameters you set. The best part is that each one is unique.

In this chapter, you’ll learn about the tools you can use to create an algorithmically generated NFT collection and go over both paid and free ways to get things done.
