Dolly Parton Album NFTs
According to various reports, Dolly Parton has teamed up with Fox Entertainment’s Blockchain Creative Labs. The partnership was created ahead of Dolly’s first novel “Run, Rose, Run,” along with a music album that will launch on the Dollyverse web experience.
The launch will take place at the South by Southwest festival next week.
Parton, a country music legend, will make her first-ever appearance at SXSW on March 18. The appearance will take place during Austin City Limits Live at The Moody Theater. During her appearance, Parton will talk about her book with co-author James Pattersen and perform songs, both classic hits and some from her new album.
According to the reports, the entire event will be available via live stream, free on Dollyverse. During the event, fans will be able to buy official and certified NFT collectibles. Some of these collectibles include limited-edition NFTs of the album and a limited series of NFT artwork that was inspired by Dolly herself.
If you attend the performance in person, you’ll also be able to claim a free NFT while streaming fans will receive tokens for their participation.
This news makes history. After all, BCL is the first ever Blockchain sponsor of SXSW. Moreover, the festival is getting into the NFT action. Artists of all types that participate in the festival will also be able to create, distribute, and sell NFTs of their work.
