In the job post, the gaming company said that it’s looking for a unique individual that has the ability to help the company enter the new age of gaming. 

The company outlined the many benefits of NFTs in the post as well, pointing to the fact that NFTs in gaming bring ownership to the consumers that play the games. Moreover, they give game creators a way to better communicate with their audience, helping to meet the needs and desires of the people that buy their games. 

Most importantly, in the responsibilities section of the job posting, GameStop said the best candidate would be able to help drive the latest and greatest in game developers to the GameStop platform, suggesting that it will be launching an NFT platform of its own relatively soon and pointing to the fact that major brands are diving into the industry.

Photoshop will get a ‘prepare as NFT’ option soon

In this article on The Verge, the author explains that Photoshop is working to create tools for NFT creators. According to the article, Adobe, the company behind the popular image editing software, Photoshop, plans on launching a system built into Photoshop that will prove the person selling an NFT to be the artist behind it, among other features. 

The new feature, known as Content Credentials, will give NFT sellers the ability to link the Adobe ID with their crypto wallet. This makes it possible to show a sort of verified certificate when selling the token, proving that the art’s source is authentic. 

In an interview, the company’s Chief Product Officer, Scott Belsky, said that the functionality will be built into the platform with a “prepare as NFT” option, an option that’s expected to launch in the preview version by the end of this month. Belsky went on to explain that the data created by the service will live on an InterPlanetary File System, or IPFS, which is a decentralized way to host files while keeping data safe and available. 

Hasbro launches Power Ranger NFT collection on Wax blockchain

Finally, in this article on VentureBeat, the author outlines the fact that Hasbro recently launched its Power Rangers NFT collection on the Wax blockchain. In the article, the author explained that the big toy and entertainment company has partnered with the Worldwide Asset eXchange (WAX) to release its very first NFT collection on the blockchain. 

According to the article, the collection will only be available for a limited time and features characters from the Power Rangers franchise. Moreover, Hasbro Pulse Premium members will have exclusive access to purchase the collection one hour before the general public, and the sale will only take place while supplies last. So, if the launch is anything like others from big names in this industry have been, the collection could sell out before the general public has a chance to dive in.
